@Derpy-Canadian Oh, they're customizable for sure. Download and check the .ini files, you can define how much drag (actually backwards force) is applied.
My values may likely be a little off yeah, but it felt right for the arcade feel of the game.
@Hullieverson PM me with the details, but I cannot guarantee I can help. No free time.
@SLY95ZER This script only processes a single entity (the parachute) and does only one thing (apply forces) continually, so I can't for the life of me understand why would you think it could drain FPS. I would understand if it enabled the same behavior for multiple vehicles simultaneously, but otherwise, its just not possible. It'd have to employ real shitty practices for it to tank FPS for a task so simple.
While I take no offense, I advise you against judging a script so casually before actually trying it out. You could miss very cool stuff with that attitude.
@SLY95ZER What makes you feel so? Legit question.
Awesome work on everything, I'm surprised to see this piece of art. And happy.
@meco0742 Doesn't make much sense, make sure scripthookv and shv.net are up to date. If you don't know just download them again. Also, download bodyguard squads again, the dll may be corrupt.
Man, the work that has went into this...
@meco0742 Press Shift and Insert ingame, then try Z again. If that doesn't work, check scripthookvdotnet.log and see if there was some kind of exception or error. You may be lacking NativeUI.dll.
@keirona Metas are harder to access as each .meta for each vehicle set is hidden in its own dlcpack, this script bundles every vehicle in a single file. Metas cannot be reloaded on the fly mid-game, this script can. Policecars cannot use enginesounds unless you swap them ingame using this script, which fixes their problem.
I do not think that rating is deserved.
@Alex106 A quick check tells me the performance problems come from the script trying to enable all 217 scenarios... PER TICK. That's ~1000 times a second, depending on the rig.
Add Interval = 500; to the public ScenarioGroups() function and the performance issues should be gone, that will make the script run its tick every 500 ticks, not every single one.
Haven't tested the script but noticed someone talking about it and mentioning perfomance issues, hope this helps.
