Now you can select the vehicles you want to spawn!
This mod now comes with a list with all vehicles in the game ("RandomVehiclesList.txt"). Remove stuff from that list that you don't want to spawn (or add custom add-on cars, should work fine but not 100 percent tested). Planes and boats and helicopters still have separate categories, turn it off in the config if you don't want to have them separate. The list has vehicle model names, that are often different from the names you see in game, so you may have to look for a list that explains them. Also Add-On Spawner shows model names, for example.

Inspired by Rainbomizer mod for SA, This script changes all vehicles found in traffic with other, randomly picked vehicles. The new vehicles have random colors and many of them have vehicle mods (upgrades) applied to them.
Mission vehicles are not changed (I don't know if it can be done, current way of randomizing would just cause the mission to fail instantly), But they still have random colors and modifications.
Police cars are also changed, so now they will be chasing you in supercars or lawnmowers or tanks (if you are really unlucky... I had a truck with rocket launchers try to blow me up once... didn't even know such thing existed). Helicopters are a bit buggy at the moment though...
The script also equips peds with random weapons (but this can be disabled). This makes fights more exciting because your opponents could be coming after you with either rocket launchers or knives and hatchets.
Most things can be changed in the config file (RandomVehicles.ini)
Installation
put both files (RandomVehicles.dll and RandomVehicles.ini) in the "scripts" folder (scripts folder should be in the same folder where GTA5.exe is, same folder where all script hook v .net scripts go). You can press F4 and type "Reload()" in-game to reload the script (after changing config or when it crashes), no need to restart the game (just like other script hook v .net scripts).

- If you drive fast or maybe if your computer is slow you can see cars being changed.
- Police Helicopters can't see you and fly away after they reach you.
- Police roadblocks (and sometimes other vehicles, like jets in the military base) start spawning new vehicles.
- Planes and helicopters driven by normal peds probably don't function well.

Great mod! would be cool to see this pushed even further by randomizing npc audio, vehicles sounds and textures.
@s64d0w The mod is quite stable (small number of crashes). It is really nice! I have the following question: I am using this mod with other mods which increase traffic. What is happening is that most of the times the drivers in the cars don't appear untill you get very close to them. (Not ghost cars which drive around without a driver, but cars with drivers which the game can't load all together because of the big number of the vehicles). So, do you know if this is happening because of the limitations of the game engine or of the limitations of the graphics card? In other words this would happen even with a stronger graphics card? (Mine is a GTX 760 and I have an i5). Thanks.

I wish i could test it but unfortunately im using old game version and get cant find native error, is there any way to make it work on older gta versions?
Hey man, probably the only mod I found that gives random npcs random weapons. Can you make it so they dont walk around with the weapons though and have it unequipped? And only use it if like cops are shooting them? I think you should actually separate the random weapons mod because the Traffic stuff is kinda not related to weapons. But either way, cool.
@s64d0w I nice work with this mod, a very funny one! But can you release a "lite version"? because this mod replace all the traffic and breaks the immersion of the game, a "lite version" that only replace a few given amount of cars in the traffic random pick from a list, and not replace police/ambulance/firetrucks, like a little traffic injector that not break the vanilla immersion of the game. @s64d0w you can add a "crazy traffic" the NPCs do not respect the highway codes and go at very high speed

Man this is the best mod I've been playing .The police chases are so freaking funny .Once i encountere a police in a tractor😆.just one request plaese remove that infinite spawn glitch that crashes my game .Also addon vehicle are now supporting that's cool .Thankss👍
I love this mod, but it causes piles of motorcycles and cars to spawn on the street. Is this something you or I could fix (am i doing something wrong?) Great work otherwise.
@s64d0w Mission vehicles could probably be randomized, by having the class of that vehicle used, but I don't know im not a mod maker.

Can you make so the oppressor can shoot rockets instead of just having the minigun
@PsyChoTiC The oppressor will need to have the rocket upgrade installed, so customized vehicles needs to be on to make that happen sometimes.
A good Mod tip, Make Vehicle changes not appear to the players perspective or make the vehicles not visible while changing. Also the Aircraft changes aren't going to work I'm afraid they will all just blow up and explode and changing the Aircraft to vehicles just makes them fall out of the sky and explode. Another Modder did this you may know him, his name is Eddim he made the Lively Traffic Mod and ran into the same problem, I suggest to completely add the function to remove or disable any and all changes related to Aircraft via the ini file.
lots of fun but some missions and are causing me to crash. (calling jay noris during lesters first mission) i dont know how it is caused but it only happens when scrolling through contacts during the mission. a simple feature to disable the mod would be nice as it could be an easy temporary solution to problems that need a further look.
Can you make config where all peds get random weapons except for 3 main characters? Sometimes, the mission will fail when a certain missions requires a specific weapon and somehow, ifyou change character mid mission, those character will replace by other weapon and ammo will be empty.
the mod just doesn't work for me, i'm not sure how to fix it, any tips?
