@yeahmantiptap Yes, I plan on getting back to work on the mod, but mostly bug fixes and improvements. As for adding more stuff, and especially replacing already existing props, no because it's too much work to do (LODs, collisions, SP and MP map files) and maintain.
I'm sure you've seen this before but there was a guy at GTAForums who claimed to have met a former QA tester around 2013.
"This is a sort of beta thing, and I know it reeks of "my friend at R*" but this is what he told me, I don't know if it's really true or not and it's not a huge thing anyways. I was in the pub with a friend who used to do QA at R*, a little after GTA V came out and he kept talking about "Niko frozen in ice" - after he mentioned it a few times I stopped him and asked him what he was talking about. He said "Niko is frozen in the ice in North Yankton!", I replied "Do you mean the alien?" he then said "Oh, right, well it was Niko at one point." I'm sure it's more of a placeholder/inside thing for them to giggle at while it was in development, but that's the only real beta story I can share!"
Although it can never be truly confirmed, it does line up with the frozen alien's file name: plg_01_nico_new.ydr
Is there a chance you'd ever consider replacing him with Niko?
@Alex106 Hello. Your mod has compatibility issues with the mod: V remastered v 3.2 Ultimate. In particular, I noticed that in some parts of Los Santos, the trees do not load the full texture. I would like you to correct the situation.
@Russkiy Zakonnik Make sure you have this script installed: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/ymap-load-list-extent-limit-fix-fwboxstreamervariable-patch
If it still doesn't work, try to use a modded gameconfig alongside the script.
If the issue persists after trying with both, I have no idea on how to fix it.
@Alex106 Yes, thank you very much! I was able to solve the problem, along with @Larcius. Like you said, the "fwBoxStreamerVariable and decals limit patch" files are required for your mod to work with GTA V Remastered: Ultimate.
Hello,
I have a question Can I install this mod in FiveM?
@hellomod98 Yes, but I don't the installation process for it.
@Alex106 Impressive!!
impressive, very nice.
@Alex106 Does the newest update make this mod obsolete, or should both be used alongside each other? - https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/v-proprestore-1-0
@Jax765 The low priority props are unaffected, so yes, you should still use either that mod or the prop restore script.
Have the MP Map issues been fixed by chance?
@JamesRack Yes, with the fwBoxStreamerVariable script https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/ymap-load-list-extent-limit-fix-fwboxstreamervariable-patch
@Alex106 Does this mod still has beta trees and vegetations from Beta Vegetation & Props mod
@Hillionliat Yes, those are part of the "Props Placements" pack.
@Alex106 One last question is this mod also replaces vanilla trees with beta one's?
@Hillionliat No.
Does this mod have compatibility issues with NVE (props) and NbVisual props?
@Iodine131
Well I tested it and it's working fine so far. Had some issues with installation order
So, this mod Adds or Replace some Textures around the map?
