A bit confused, do we need the mp map fixes or can we only do the sp if we're on singleplayer?

This makes my game world around Davis completely invisible. I went through my mods folder and can confirm that this mod was 100% the cause for me.

I really like this but I got lost around 15-20 FPS. Is there a way to lower the traffic density within this mod?
