DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DLS?
- Read all documentation included with DLS and verify any custom XMLs you made to make sure you haven't made a mistake while editing/creating configurations.
- Take a look at DLS's forum post and check if your problem was already reported.
- If not, post it here or on my Discord Server or as an issue on the GitHub repository.
DLS IS OPEN-SOURCE!
- DLS is and will always be an open-source project and nothing around it will be behind a paywall.
- If you're someone with C# experience or programming experience in general and feel like contributing to DLS the help would be surely appreciated.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- DLS is not compatible with ELS vehicles as of release and there are no plans to support them.
- All vehicle configuration is set up in an external .xml file and allows for vehicle developers to still share the vehicle as functional non-ELS vehicles with all regular features.
- DLS is still in active development and future features are already planned.

DLSv2 is in active development.
With the new update, we are focusing on making Dynamic Lighting System truly dynamic. We have gone away with the hard-coded concept of light stages and predefined features, allowing vehicle developers and enthusiasts to freely develop a vehicle's feature set within DLSv2, while also making their setup easier.
One of the major features in DLSv2 is the use of triggers that can activate specific lighting modes automatically, with a negligible performance penalty. As a quick tease, here's a sample for PNWParksFan's automatic TA using DLSv2's Road Position trigger.
Keep in mind DLSv2 is still under heavy development and a lot may still change between now and the release. No ETAs as of now, it will be done when its done.

@derekology controller controls (sorry :p) are currently being reworked, and are not changeable/toggleable at this moment. You can find a temporary version of DLS with all controller buttons disabled on DLS Discord server, though

ELS can kiss my shiny metal...! In all seriousness, if you're considering getting this mod, do it. It's easy to install and a great mod.
Traffic advisor stage not working for me and light stage have only one stage=3, no stage 1 and 2 ! Why? O_o
@James HortonCZ you're using a non-DLS vehicle.
is there any way to get the other cops to turn on the sirens? because only I can turn it on while the others do everything with the sirens off. btw, great job!
Very nice mod, been doing alot of configs lately and works great!
Some aspects that would be awesome if implemented:
- Possibility to set individual bpm or at least have rotator lights not be connected to the general bpm (making "flashy strobe" lights and rotator light on the same vehicle is impossible until now)
- Possibility to have separate bpm or at least separate full config for traffic advisor activation since it looks really bad when having a high bpm
- Not only set the pattern to 11111... but also the flash speed to 0 when activating steady burns.

Peds have emergency lights off they never use them did i do something wrong or its problem with the whole mod?
@GenSec I'm seriously surprised nobody answered this question or even had the similar problem. I had the same problem as you and surprised it isn't listed in the description. For whatever reason, the author has the light control for AI turned off. Here is what you need to change in the DLS.ini
Scroll down to Settings and change the value from true to false where it says
//Enable or disable Lights Control for AI vehicles.
AILightsControl=false
Now AI is using the lights.
is there anyway to make the lights just 1 stage so lights on and lights off on 1 button press

Rockstar editor won't load after installing the mod
Too many good cars made unusable by els system for non els users.
Bro update this, the mod was working perfectly find, now all off a sudden it doesn't work anymore. I can toggle the siren on and off but can't switch siren modes and the ui does not appear on screen!

which button do i have to press to activate the strobe lights when the dynamic lighning ui is showing on the screen ? I mean which keybind combination or keybind ??
