Description:
The MEU(SOC) pistol, officially designated the M45 MEUSOC, is a magazine-fed, recoil-operated, single-action, semiautomatic pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge.
Replaces the Heavy Pistol.
Features:

Working collision data
Includes attachments

Please note:
The only issue is the finger doesn't align with the trigger guard correctly. Other than that it's perfect.
All assets were taken from Insurgency directly, aside from the flashlight glass which reuses the bulb from the delta CAR-15 model by Hung Do. I wasn't able to find any metalness maps in the game files so I made my own using photoshop. I also had to edit some of the models to fix a few things like capping the end of the suppressor.
The scope doesn't have a reticle because I had to remove the glass. I could not for the life of me figure out how to fix the damn reticle texture. Every time it'd just apply the scope texture instead so I just decided to remove it.

Just extract the archive and place the files in

Hey man, looks amazing glad to finally see a tactical looking black actually high resolution 1911-ish pistol. Any chance you could add another version with the sight still on? Maybe even add one from insurgency sandstorm. I've been waiting for someone to finally post a 1911 with a reflex sight..
the iron sight is not aligned in first person when you shoot the bullet hits above the sight by far
@Janus_ Unfortunately there are no handgun optics in Insurgency but I might see if I can use the one from Sandstorm. I just gotta download the game, it's been sitting in my library for a while now lol.

@swaggerkaj It's from Insurgency not sandstorm but yeah I did it all myself, Insurgency, Day of Infamy, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and a few other games run on the source engine which is extremely easy to mod. I used to mod L4D2 so I already had a bunch of L4D2 modding tools I could use to get the model and textures.

@Janus_ Update: I managed to rip the model and textures from sandstorm. I'm currently trying to get the opacity to work on the scope.

@sharpeye0163 It's rockstars fault lol, they didn't animate the hammer on the heavy pistol. They only animated it on certain handguns.
@Janus_ Just uploaded but I wasn't able to fix the glass. No matter what I did I couldn't figure out why the textures were bugging out.

I kinda wish we had a version in the FDE colors, but this still scratches my 1911 itch perfectly.
After actually using it ingame this actually amazed me, the quality of textures and reflections are amazing.
