Extreme Note:
If you are not pleased with how slow/fast things are, you can tune your settings. Please do so as this mod is affected by framerate. Those with slow framerates will have slower turning and accelerating than those with higher framerates.
Description:
There are three main features to this mod:
1. Vehicles have smooth throttle when accelerating/reversing. You can cancel this by mashing or holding the handbrake and accelerating.
2. When you come to a stop while holding reverse, you will not reverse until you let go and press reverse again. Your brake lights will activate.
3. Steering is persistent when stopped. Heavy at low speeds. It will then slowly center as you accelerate.
Game controller friendly.
Requirements:
ScriptHookVDotNet (Version: 3)

Make sure you have the ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll in your main GTAV folder
Installation:

Hey man nice mod. I just noticed that it makes the game to freeze for a second when spawning a new car. Please make the code clean as possible and performence optimized as you can do.
@MrGTAmodsgerman Are you absolutely positive it is my mod? It's not doing much per frame and it's as optimized as anything can be. Try disabling the "EnableSmoothThrottle" and "EnableHeavySteering" individually and seeing if it actually is my mod.
That's VERY-VERY useful mod ... After a long time . Pls add wheels turn-IN speed for LowSpeed , MediumSpeed etc ... like two same values for "StoppedWheelTurnSpeed" .
And maybe use .ini file ( not .txt ) & add base values with // character .
It's REALLY like real life wheels turnup .. Amazing . BIG THX ...
And yea , visible a little wheels shakes when car stopped with turn-in ... But anyway it's a nice mod .

Absolutely f******* FANTASTIC! WOOOOOOOOO I can actually drive fast and drift hard!!!! using in conjunction with manual transmition and some other mods i cant quite remember. this is an absolute game changer!!!! i think the fact that it works with the frame rate makes it much more stable if your frames are somewhat bouncy like mine. i run this on a potatoe right now fps is usually 30-22 fps but i feel like it actually stabalized my game when going over 100 mp/h. id rate this 10/10 if i could under rated mod for sure!!!!
dude, this script is underrated, it made the behavior of the wheels more realistic, because of this, the drift has become MUCH better, the car has become intuitive to control, the drift itself looks very spectacular and smooth, now I can normally record drift clips, the behavior of the wheels does not hurt my eyes, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS SCRIPT <3333

works really good. only thing im insure off is if this mod affects bikes and motorcycles?
@systematic Is there any chance we could get some control over the key assignments? Mashing or holding handbreak to accelerate doesn't feel very intuitive, if we could make the vanilla throttle the default and Shift + W it would make it much easier to get used to it since we are all used to the vanilla throttle and the handbreak being a break not an accelerate button. And if you could make the modifier key (Shift) changeable from our side that would take care of any compatibility issues. Amazing mod otherwise
Hated the fact that you burnout when moving your car from a stop. This fixes it. The heavy steering is a great feature too
