Description:
The Alpha AK from Insurgency Sandstorm features a 12.4" AK-104 barrel, Zenitco B-30 handguards, a TWS railed dust cover, Magpul MOE AK pistol grip, and Tromix extended charging handle. The receiver is not an exact AK-100 series variant, as it lacks the hardware for the original folding stock, and the Crane/BCM B5 stock is mounted on an AKM/AK-74 style non-folding buffer adapter. As of Update 1.12 Operation Glasshouse, it uses steel AKM magazines by default which can be replaced with polymer 7.62x39mm AK magazines by equipping custom skins.
Replaces the Assault Rifle.
Features:
Fully animated
Working collision data
2K textures
3 skins are available.
Comes in two versions one with the sights up and one with them down.
It also comes with standard, extended and drum magazines, available in steel and bakelite.
Please note:
The only issues are minor clipping and the sights not being configured for first-person use.
All assets were taken from Insurgency Sandstorm directly.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
For the drum mag put the files in

bro for any weapon that replaces vanilla guns like this AK (assault-rifle) I get texture flickering/glitches - please see post here: https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/41309/weapon-textures-flickering
@Suzerain001 Do you have Heap Limit Adjuster, Packfile Limit Adjuster and Gameconfig for Limitless Vehicles installed? Also Replacing any of the weapons in the previous patches won't solve anything and will cause more issues. You might also want to try Resource Adjuster.

@Equinox407 yup have all of that. game works fine and other weapon mods work great (including yours that don't replace these vanilla guns - i.e. carbine rifle mod works great without issue).

@Suzerain001 I don't know what's wrong then. Maybe you've got modded weapons in older patches. Try making sure the only patch you have modded guns in is patchday8ng.
