@kazuki but now it will work, all you have to do is move the exhaust to the afterburner.
@kazuki all you have to do is move the exhaust to the afterburner and then it will work on the vigilante with the rocket boost just like the voltic rocket boost
@kazuki can you also make the rocket exhaust chrome and more detailed it lacks polygons
@kazuki why did you update it and not move the exhaust to the thruster why?
@kazuki please move it to the thruster
You did a great job porting this over. Do you still have plans on integrating the voltic rocket booster? I can send a few bucks your way if you are still considering it.
@PCForever hows your experience in replacing cars? last time i tried and only replacing vigilante and replacing certain lines in vehicles.meta gives me that ingame rocket. i'm away from gta machine for a long while and i just don't have time to go over everything and babysit everyone. but the loose files are included in the download, and i had it working before. so with that knowledge, feel free to experiment.
@kazuki That's good to know. I get that you don't want to "baby sit" anyone but could you share what lines of code you added to the vehicle data? I'll ask another modder to see how I can find the actual location of where the boost is located. So far I found the particle effects data on another thread but not the actual function of the boost itself. I'll continue looking at files in openiv. I might actually find the location of it myself.
@kazuki Nevermind I figured it out. You add FLAG_HAS_ROCKET_BOOST to vehicles.meta
In addition I also added a few lines to make it float on water. I first used the blazer aqua info but it didn't work right so I ended up using the technical instead and it works better. But I do like the wheel retracting with the blazer. It just needs tweaking in the boat settings which you gotta add to the handling as well. Just copy from the technical2's data.
Oh right and the ptfx will have to be added as well. I'll deal with that at another time. Man I learned a lot in the past day just from exploring files.
@PCForever sorry, i wasn't able to get back to you, but i hope you worked out somethings. you can use the openiv program's search function to find where most of the car files can be found. but sometimes the .meta files are hidden in the updates/update.rpf/dlc_patches section. sometimes hunting for the right meta files drive me crazy. anyways let me know if you got it working
@kazuki Read up ^ I found the solution and it works great!
@PCForever you mean the ptfx line? cool glad it works
It Does not spawn for some reason. tried everything. (I'M NOT MODIFYING MY GAMECONFIG.XML PLEASE DON'T ASK ABOUT THAT.)
I like this batmobile because it it is looking good aaand has 2 seats.
Appreciate the fact that you included the files separately in the mod so I don't have to extract them from the rpf
When you add a rocket booster to a betmobile?
i cant get it to work can i have help
Is this bulletproof?
