If anyone needs/wants to put their addon vehicles in map editor, you just open the vehiclelist.ini and put the model name of the vehicles you want in it. You don't need the hash or anything just the model name. If you try putting the hash as well with addon vehicles map editor won't load(as in F7 won't do anything when you get in-game). Just a helpful note cause it took me a bit to realise I didn't need the hashes.
I have a question. Why is it that no matter which map I load any vehicles in it always spawn black. Like I get black bulldozers and concrete mixers. Every vehicle is black. How do I fix that?
@RizwanH and anyone else. If you want low-end version of this then go to the files where you put them in Open-IV, then right click and export to meta/xml. Then once exported open the file in notepad or whatever editor you use and do a search and replace. The lines you want to edit are "<lodDist value="5000.00000000"/>". You want to change the 5000 (this is the distance the trees start to spawn in) to something like 2000 or even 1000 if you don't mind watching them pop in in front of you. So search for "5000." include the period otherwise you might catch other items that have 5000 in them. Then replace with "2000." or whatever number remembering the period. Click to replace all then save the file and drag it back into Open-IV and you will see it import. All done!
@Eagle Playerz It looks like there isn't a button to take the screenshots. In the video I see he's using steam screenshots. When you press J it's the menu that appears to be able to take one.
@Ginkarasu You posted a while ago but make sure the skin has the same name as the one already on the bus. That way it replaces it. Make sure you followed a template or that you know the dimensions of your texture for it.
Could you please add an option to disable the controller support. I use ELS and when I go to flick my lights on if a car is behind me it gets attached to me. Otherwise good mod.
Yeah I had to remove this. Killed my FPS so damn fast wasn't funny. Great idea but my pretty reasonable computer can't even handle it. Dust also looks a bit weird when kicked up. Will wait for further updates and see if it works better.
Yes if you have ELS you can change the audiohash name in the vehicles.meta folder for your police vehicles to a civilian car (which changes engine sound but also allows radio use). Best use is the simple trainer and set default station to what you like.
