Used to work but after installing raiders blood overhaul no longer works :(

Hi I have a problem, my character floats about 10 ft above the ground underneath the ufo, so when I get shot at I die easier than normal because my character is floating just above enemies heads no matter how high in the sky the ufo is. And when i fire the cannon it kills me.
