This mod is half good, half bad. There are many great missions that are decently thought out. There are also many that are just sloppy, annoying, unfair and possibly tested by some kid who forgot to turn off their god modes.
Thankfully you can turn on and off certain mission types because otherwise it would be a hard pass for me. Spent hours playing around with this and trying to make it something i wanted to keep in my single player experience. About half the missions are turned off entirely. It is a decent mod but it is quite sloppy in places.
Missions I've turned off entirely are ...
Convicts - Works fine but the convicts do this 'singing?' of an incredibly repetitive noise making it unbearable.
Pilot - love this idea but one drop off location is bugged and the VIP will not walk the 30 feet to the door, instead just stands there
Racist (Racing missions) - The opponents are way way too slow, it is not a race at all.
Assassination - I found these missions to be so cramped with so many vision cones in the area, seems like only the creator would be able to find the path reasonably. Waste of time
Debt Collect - Very laggy
MC missions - insanely laggy
Bay lift - missions so bad you'll wonder if you're being trolled
Sharks - another lag fest mission, also silly
Sailor - the tug mission is unplayable. Very sloppy and unplayable scene. Helicopter appears out of thin air mere feet from the car it steals, blowing it up before the steal would have it land on barge. After steal, well.. it has the car already. Barge explodes every time, not sure if it's due to the numerous jet skis rubbing on it and exploding or if it is an automatic thing.. very bad lol. It is a shame because the other sailor missions are decent, and it doesn't let you pick and choose what missions from each type to turn off.
I really wanted to like this mod. I really tried to, using every truck and option at my disposal, but i can't. There is literally not even time to complete the missions with any of the trucks provided. Not to mention 4 immediate stars while pulling a tanker? It exploded 10 seconds into me hauling it, every single time I tried it. I tried it quite a few times. I'm wondering if the creator was accidentally testing these missions with modded trucks yet only providing unmodded trucks as an option in the mod? Did you test the tanker mission using vehicle god mode? Kind of a huge joke imo. Only enjoyed it somewhat when I teleported to create time to allow for completing the mission and/or removing wanted level immediately so that my tanker didn't get 2 shot exploded.
@toyota12345@keithv2735 I forgot to mention i'm also having a death screen filter or something like that take over my screen after being killed for destroying the mission vehicle after it bugs out.. It does not seem to fade over time and basically makes it look sort of washed out with less color.
@keithv2735 I'm having these issues, same as you. Kind of ruins the mod for me, sadly. I would also like a fix for these two issues if anyone can help! Other than that, the mod is rather great! Would love to keep it installed for a long time to come
@toyota12345 I actually really like this mod. I have some issues though that are going to cause me to uninstall if i don't find a reasonable solution. The first issue is the vehicle stealing not registering UNLESS the driver has been somehow interacted with. If the driver runs off without you either holding him at gunpoint OR shooting him dead, the mission will not work and it will not let you return the truck to the ware house. This is where the second issue arises. After having not dealt with the driver properly i am forced to destroy the truck which kills my character? These two things while minor really ruin the experience for me. Can we just remove the driver from the equation of completing the missions? Maybe i don't want to kill every single driver in cold blood? Pretty annoying but great mod other than these two issues. Will update stars on review if I can get solutions/update. Anyone? :)
This seems pretty good, but when attempting 'transport patient' it is not giving me a drop off location... anyone else having this issue?
