It is recommended to always use the latest version of Script Hook V .Net Enhanced by Chiheb-Bacha.

It doesn't matter whether you're using the legacy or enhanced version.

For some time now, the Nightly Version by Kagikn has been directly causing significant operational chaos and luck. Each version, e.g., the newest, slightly older, or very old, can work differently on different versions of the game (older patches or the latest one) and differently between legacy and enhanced versions. Therefore, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work in a complicated way. It's not recommended to use nightly releases for extended periods of time. It's possible they'll fix this chaos and problem soon, but it's unknown and not worth worrying about right now.

You should still remember the requirements, such as the latest version of the game, the original game, the latest working Script Hook V by Alexander Blade, no conflicts with other files, etc.

I ask anyone who's having trouble with my script to go to the Description and find and read the information in the Required Files and Installation sections. There, I explained everything needed and how to install it. If it still doesn't work for someone, I have no idea what's causing it and what's wrong with each user's files.

Please check what I wrote carefully and confirm whether it started working for you after following my instructions.

I believe that if you manage to get it working and confirm it, people will stop telling me it's not working because something's wrong with them and I can't even control it because I don't have access to it to help :)

There is no way to do that at the moment, but I plan to do it for version v2.0 sometime soon once I add everything I want correctly :)

I know that NVE Legacy already has the LowPriorityPropsPatch fix added by default, so there's no need to use other scripts, etc.

Does NVE Enhanced not include this fix now, and do I need to use a different method to enable LowPriorityPropsPatch?

It works correctly on both legacy and enhanced versions, which has been verified and tested many times.

I guarantee support for always using the latest version of the game.

You also need the latest Script Hook V and the latest Script Hook V .Net Enhanced by Chiheb-Bacha.

If it still doesn't work, it indicates a bad installation (scripts folder) or a conflict with other files and scripts, which is also possible if you have many modifications, additional files, etc.

Copy / drag all contents of the extracted "Better_And_Realistic_Vehicle_Options_With_Control.zip" to the scripts folder

* If you don't have a scripts folder, create it in your GTA V game folder.

The spacebar or gamepad button can be easily swapped for another one.

However, the locking feature was implemented intentionally.

Otherwise, driving and drifting with the default spacebar (handbrake) would turn off the engine while the vehicle is moving, which is not recommended.

Stopping the vehicle and spinning the wheels in place would also be impossible, as the engine would stall.

These are necessary preventative features to ensure that one option and issue never disrupts another.

Simply release the spacebar/assigned key for 0.001 ms and press it again manually when the vehicle is stationary and motionless – then it will work without a problem.

These are things you need to learn to get used to. It's not a bug.

The issue of long exits/entrances to/from the vehicle is easy to explain and can be improved. I can also do this and set the delay to even shorter. But please change your rating and don't downgrade it until something is fully resolved :)

It should work correctly and identically on Legacy and Enhanced.

Do you have the latest original version of the game? And the latest Script Hook V?

Which Script Hook V are you using?
