Hello everyone. For those who did not know, I have been very sick for a while now. My condition is unfortunately getting worse. Today I also received my eviction notice. I will probably be away for a while, but I promise I will return to Kitsune Trains as soon as I have a home and can recover. For everyone who has continued to enjoy this mod, Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart. Seeing many of you enjoy these trains has made all the learning worth it lol. Please continue to enjoy them and know that I will be back to maintain and update this mod as soon as I am able. Sorry for the oncoming delays everyone. Take care all -Foxy
@elsanhoty The stuttering when a train spawns is sometimes normal because its a big memory hit on the game. If it stutters the entire time a train is there, it could be that its too hard on your system with your current setting or other mods you have running. To test this, try waiting for trains in areas that have less density of traffic or especially trees/bushes. I have testers who use i7 and GTX1080 and they only report an occasional hiccup/single stutter when a large train spawns in for just a second. My system is i9 with 64GB ram and RTX3080 so I never have any stutter, but I still get the single hiccup when a huge train spawns in for a second. As for the file placement of the train files, it actually has EVERYTHING to do with the trains and their tracks. Rockstar changed the train files to that location that I use starting with the Los Santos tuners DLC and the introduction of "The ECU" contract mission. That location now OVERRIDES other train locations. Therefore, if you want the trains to read a NEW custom file, that is where you place them.
@ollyolly If you can see which train it is, you can find its sound folder and you can swap or edit the sounds to make them louder or quieter. Let me know if you need help finding which train it is.
@00054256 Yes its possible I actually used to do that with permission from Walter. What you need is to install overhauled trains but do not install the train.dat traintracks or trains.xml. Instead use the KT versions but in Walters trains.xml you will want to copy the consists over to the KT trains.xml. Be careful though, the reason I stopped including this is because KT uses almost all the available random train slots. If you add too many your trains might act strange.
@cricket1205 When you installed the newest RR engineer script, it should have included a config file. When you open the config file, there will be a section called [FreightTrain] and then an entry that says Train.Models = ...... after the = copy and past the list I am attaching. This is the engines for the mod to look for. Save and try again, you should be able to drive the lead engines afterwards.
@cricket1205 Check the instructions again bro. I literally say in the instructions that if you see that you didn't put the trains.xml in the correct location. Rockstar changed it from commonen.rpf to Update/Update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5 about a year ago. Make sure you take all the file OUT of the track data folder and place them there. Do not put the folder in there or it will error.
@b4good Yes that is just the mission train unloading from memory. I will (in a future update) find a more graceful way, but basically once created mission trains never leave unless force removed.

@GTProdukie Thank you very much. I am happy if anyone can enjoy these trains. I will hopefully add more missions and features in the next update!

@cricket1205 NO worries and yes without KT props the trains have no wheels and there will be no stations etc.

I decided to just update how it cleans the mission trains up. Looks way better now!
