Some exciting news! The next version release 1.0 is in development. Alpha releases are no more! Many bugs have been fixed, the payout system has been revamped, and much more. I'm very excited to share this new version when it's complete very soon.
Please report any bugs in the GitHub Repo.
A total revamp of the previous Uber Driver Mod.
What's new?
The entire mod has been written from scratch. Including a whole new driving system, levelling system, enhanced UI and more.
Features
A mission to drive peds around the map, rating and levelling system, 80+ drop-off locations.
Requirements (Dependencies):
LemonUI (SHVDN3)
ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet
Installation:
Extract the zip file (UberDriver.dll, UberDriver.ini and UberDriver Folder) into your scripts folder. Check the mod photos/videos for a step-by-step installation.
How to Use:
Use F6 to open the menu. Most controls are customizable in the .ini file.
Known bugs: Fleeing passengers upon pickup, minimap stops rotating during an active job
NOTICE: Peds spawning in the middle of the street where no sidewalk is available is normal.
Changelog:
- 0.3.1a: Allowed passengers to enter any available seat, fixed script crashing if you exit your vehicle during a ride, fixed levelling up when the ride is cancelled/when an error message is thrown.
- 0.3a: Fixed job timer not resetting.
- 0.2a: Fixed being not able to start a job. Made the UI more user-friendly, eliminated some FPS issues, adjusted payouts to be more realistic, fixed rating always being 5/5.
- 0.1a (Fixed): Fixed the busy area cooldown.

@ChillestDev Why does the car to turn off the engine? Pick up or drop off passengers, I use Manual Transmission mode to drive, do you think it's related?

Everything works well, Love the mod but... I don't think the money is increase after done the job? Anyone else have this problem of not actually get paid after job?

@ChillestDev first thank you for turn this project open source. I'm working in some updates. Since you did not set a open source license for the project, I would like to know how do you prefer that I publish new versions and the source code. Can I create a fork in github and can I create a new mod page in my account for release? Please let me know how you feel comfortable with. Thank you again and I'm really excited to share improvements with the community.

@Rosthchild Reagan Hey! Wasn’t going to share this information till later, but seeing as this mod is still pretty active I’ll share this now. I’ve once again remade the mod from scratch, cleaning up code, eliminating all known bugs, bringing back all disabled features and new features as well. In the new release, there will also be the ability to honk from a distance for a passenger to enter from further. As for the door not closing, that is a rockstar issue as I’m simply using their natives, however I will add a check if they’re in the vehicle, the door will close. Thanks for your feedback!

Hello! First of all, thanks for continuing to support this mod. The next update is well underway, which will probably be the last release for at least a long time. Full transparency, this mod has been extremely time consuming and draining to work on, with hours being put into it. I want this next release to be solid, and as bug free as possible in order to provide a fun experience for a long time! It is 90% complete, still just ironing out bugs that are driving me crazy lol. All jokes aside, all known bugs have been patched, and new features will be coming out with this update. Including 600+ pickup locations so passengers no longer spawn in the middle of the road. It will be restricted to city only for the time being, as adding pickups for the city alone has taken hours. The mod will remain open source, allowing anyone to make changes as they see fit. The release 0.3.1a that is up currently, is a buggy mess and the next release has been written entirely from scratch. Once again, thanks for your continued support of the mod and I'm excited to share the next release with all of you soon!
