Instead of retexturing the hat, you can just take the hat model and texture from update\x64\dlcpacks\mpapartment\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\mpapartment_p.rpf\ and put it in update\x64\dlcpacks\mpapartment\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\mpapt01_p.rpf\mp_m_freemode_01_p_male_apt01. Accessory models can be put onto any model. It may not fit properly, but you can give it a shot
