Hey, it's been a while since I've posted here...
The LM-100J is the civilian version of the C-130J-30 Super Hercules flown by various militaries across the globe.
Introduced in 2014, the LM-100J brings the same improvements as it's military counterpart to the civilian market, with more powerful and efficient engines, updated avionics and greater range.
The first airframe flew in May of 2017, and has since been used as a testbed for Lockheed Martin.
As of now the program has pretty much stalled due to lack of civilian demand, which is not surprising as the sole customer so far is Pallas Aviation, which is a government contractor and flies basically the same routes as Military C-130s.
It remains to be seen if other known LM-100 operators such as Lynden Air Cargo (Which does DOD contracts) will eventually bite the bullet, but for now only foreign militaries seem to be interested.
The two skins in this package represent the two Lockheed Martin demonstrators, N5103D (s/n382-5818) and N5105A (s/n382-5824).
These two aircraft have now been delivered to the Algerian Air force, and are now registered as 7T-WJA and 7T-WJB respectively, and have now been converted into what are essentially slightly nerfed C-130J-30s.
