This mod is made by Cody196, the same author
for GTA 5 For Super Low PC's Mod.
This mod is intended to remove the full
models of props like vegetation, bins,
lampposts, etc and leave behind only the
LOD's or also known as level of detail. In return you will gain an extra 5 to 10 more fps.
To Install Open up OpenIV and go to
update>update.rpf>common>data>levels>gta5>
and then add a new folder called props then
inside that one, add all the folders as they
are named, e.g vegetation, residental,
industrial etc, then once your done open up
each folder and add the files inside those
folders in the mod to your openIV. Now you're
done.

hi this mod is good if you put the files in the right place the instructions are wrong and need updating all you need to do is search for the rpf files in openiv and replace them for example roadside props like v_rubbish.rpf + v traffic_lights.rpf + v_utility.rpf go into x64h.rpf/levels/gta5/props/roadside and then the rest go into other rpf locations so it takes time to find them all hope it helps

can confirm, they must be installed in the x64 RPFs. The ones used in this mod are X64i.rpf, X64c.rpf, X64f.rpf, X64H.rpf . There might be others I missed, but those were the one's that were used, be aware though that different categories are found in each of them, e.g VEGETATION is found in both X.64i.rpf and X64f.rpf, make sure they replace the correct files
heads up if anyone is still using this, this mod disables cash drops by peds, the files from Lev_des: v_minigame.rpf and lev_des.rpf, so dont use these if you want to see peds drop cash or are using mods that enable this

I used to love this mod, but rockstar just changed everything, i feel bad becasue i want to downgrade this f game, and they don't make this a option for us.
Ok, so you have low end specs and you want more fps, but this mod is kinda outdated? Well, not really, here's little guide:
Fristly, delete "lev_des" right away, because it breaks random encounters. Then delete "building", because it breaks first heist mission.
Now for the installation - we will alter x64c.rpf, x64f.rpf, x64h.rpf, x64i.rpf, i recommend to backup this files.
Now you can just go into the archive, then to .rpfs i was talking about and see for yourself what you can drop to .rpf folders. Path is (rpf/levels/gta5/props). And yeah, open folders, don't just drop them into your .rpfs.
Be careful, if you use modded v_trees, v_bush, v_palm, v_fanpalm, your trees, bushes and palms will be 2D and would follow your camera like weeping angels, but if you don't care - they give largest fps boost.
Hope I helped someone with bad pc. Also, I could forgot something, but i can assure you, that this won't break your missions, only they'll be missing some props and will look like pissshit.
I'll play with this mod for the full game and random encounters and mb i'll upload updated version of this mod.
Also, i'm not english-speaking, so sorry if my instructions aren't fully user-friendly and my english is not that good.
Be aware, first softlock - mission Three's Company. When i climbed down to interrogation cutscene, characters were just standing there, skipped with SaveEditor. It's probably something that has to do with "commercial">v_office. I'll try removing it later.

Second soft lock when entering a race in a triathlon it will stuck the cutscene when you put your name in the clipboard but you can still open the pause menu. Don't know how to fix please help me.
