Finally after a while of trial and error, I have made an icon for the Fire Extinguisher. The Fire Extinguisher was meant to be used by the player, but never received a hud icon and was only usable by firemen. Now the Fire Extinguisher finally has a hud icon with this mod!
installation:
Using OPENIV place hud.gfx in update/update.rpf/x64/patch/data/cdimages/scaleform_generic.rpf
- And then open hud.ytd in the same location and replace weapons_dlc_bb with the one included in this mod

Version 1.1 - Decreased aliasing of icon, slight image modifications

@Stryfaar Well. GFX files are a different implementation of swf files created by Scaleform. To add an icon into the game requires a flash program such as Adobe Flash Animate. You import the GFX file into a flash decompiler (I used jpexs). Requires trial and error of fine tuning to get it to work. Really annoying to do.

Should update the mod as the game was updated with the doomsday heist update added new weapons and a new radio icon.

One question. It has been discovered that if you change the name of all of the Online weapons, they will show up in Ammunation in SP. However when you do this, it breaks the icons. So I am wondering, would it be possible to do this trick and get the icons back?

So has the scaleform_generic.rpf been removed from mods\update\update.rpf\x64\patch\data\cdimages\ in the Dec 2021 patch?
I could no longer find it to reinstall in:
mods\update\update.rpf\x64\patch\data\cdimages\
But have installed it at mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_generic.rpf\ which works
