put file water.xml into common.rpf\data\levels\gta5\
Oh no! an asteroid has hit the Pacific Ridge in the San Andreas Rift! A tsunami has occurred, leaving everything in tact, yet covering the entire state in a water bed.

That's good there are no strong waves,but how to edit the water.xml to change the value of water height without any errors or strong waves?

@al90081970 Under the section <wavequads> you will see a section <Amplitude value="0" />
change that to whatever value to suit your needs

FiveM compatible? anyway, its a cool mod, only con is that i have to swim everywhere and if trevor, micheal, franklin spawn under the water

@Ilikeeditingpolice01 It should be compatible, I am unsure though because I don't really use it. And yeah, you just need god mode if you want to stay under

Does anyone know how to edit for example the canals or the pools? There are some places that conflict with the water that may or may not be hardcoded in another file. I as well am asking anyone if they know how to extend the water to way past the map?

@Samrep69 In Water.xml the canals and pools are defined as CalmingQuads in Water.xml iirc.

@dninemfive Unfortunately, There is no way to edit the water as further as this. The Streams and pools are part of gta's navmeshes, which are hardcoded into the game and would take great difficulty as we don't have any idea where their definitions are stored.
Also the other way to do it is to edit every single pool or stream's navmeshes, which would take several years of unnecessary effort to convert
