Maps for Helicopters 1.0 by 777PROJEKT
First, note: i try my best to be understandable by everyone with my poor english and a web translator, if you find something really incomprehensible
please tell me and help me to rectify. Many thanks. If you have the same idea for something, it's important that you make your version with your own style! It's about passion and inspiration... and i would happy to try.
These maps are not about great constructions with interiors, but they are made to have jobs with helicopters, if you are an heli enthusiast,
or like me, a bored GTA pilot without job ! Or you'r just a curious which looks for some fun, these maps are for you !
If you'r not, there is nothing incredible to visit, maybe exept the Oil Rig.
More jobs and places will come, depend of the succes of this version, i have a real passion for helicopters, but i don't know how many players are like me on GTA and mods.
You will find the planning missions in PDF format in "Jobs and missions planning" folder.
Main map 1.0 (heli.xml) content :
5 Helipads, at:
- Sandy Shores Sheriff's station
- Human Labs
- Central Palmer-Taylor
- Fire station El Burro Heights
- Jetsam Terminal
- A moutain hut with small landing place
- A small Oil Rig
Additional maps
- Sandy Shores Flying Shool at airfield ( There is no helicopters in the map, you can put helicopters of your choice and save, then you must load the map from his location so that they load in the right place )
Installation: you just need Map Editor and 10k objects, put [heli.xml], [fly.xml] in GTA V main folder, in game load first heli.xml. Feel free to add up all additional maps and save in heli.xml if you want.

@777PROJEKT I can't get the oil rig loaded if my life depended on it. I tried multiple object lists like 10k and the updated ones (not only object but vehicle and ped aswell). The updated one has 16k objects and is only a couple of weeks old but still doesn't solve the issue. The Map Editor log says (it's partly German, sorry for that): System.NullReferenceException: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt. My InvalidObjects list spits out only one number (1432857344). Does this mean that only 1 object is missing? But then again the whole oil rig doesn't load, I have checked the location and there are no objects floating around so there must be more missing than 1.
Everything else works perfectly fine, especially the Mount Gordo and Sandy Shores Flight School maps are amazing.
@Solid Snake Hey thank you for feedback ! Mmh no idea, try to load the map from paleto bay, try to load without invalid list, PC config? Or just wait some days i will update the map these days and i can put my objects list in file ...

@777PROJEKT Loading from Paleto and without the invalid list doesn't help but the funny thing is your offshore platform map works without a problem. So it's not a big deal, I can combine the two.
@Solid Snake haha yeah that's funny, next updtate i will put the oil rig map alone, then you will try with it..
@777PROJEKT Do you know whats causing the "object reference not set to an instance of an object" its says that after it fails to load Heli.xml
I would really like if the heli.xml works cause im into helicopters rn :)
@Potato__ is that a Map Editor message or from your PC ? if it's the first, you miss some objects in the list, if second, something is missing in the installation of mods/scripts/dll etc..
@777PROJEKT The message came from map editor and how would I get the missing objects?
@777PROJEKT And it also says "Tried very hard but vehicle failed to load"
@Potato__ sorry, did you find the solution? do you have problems with others maps?
How did you do that dirt mod? Like when a helicopter is hovering and then dirt goes flying in air because of too much air from heli.
